Montana!

Somehow it is already Labor Day weekend! That means that I will be heading out to Big Sky, Montana to “Run the Rut”. The Rut 50K is a brutal, technical race with 10,000 feet of elevation gain. I am beyond nervous for the race, but I’m very excited to push my body and see what I can do at a race that is way different from what we normally experience on the east coast.

I’ll admit upfront that I have not had nearly enough climbing in my training, so it will definitely be an interesting experience. Expect a full race report of the 50K along with daily blog posts about my full trip to Montana. I plan to be running every single day, so I am really looking forward to sharing my experiences with everyone.
